Each piece is made to order and individually handcrafted in our studio in Sydney.
LEJEUNE jewellery is carefully crafted by hand and made from recycled 925 Sterling Silver and 24k Gold Vermeil.
All 24k Gold Vermeil LEJEUNE pieces are plated to 4.5-5 microns thick, making it more hard wearing than standard plating.
Sterling Silver can tarnish and although Gold Vermeil is more durable than standard plating, it's natural that the metal is still susceptible to wear and fading over time.
We recommend you remove jewellery prior to showing, exercising and avoid contact with harsh chemicals such as oils, perfumes and lotions as this will accelerate the metal oxidising. Wear Sterling Silver pieces often to maintain their shine.
For best results we recommend cleaning jewellery in an ultrasonic cleaner, as it's less invasive than manual cleaning. Alternatively, clean pieces gently with soapy water and a soft cloth. Ensure jewellery is completely dry before storing.
Do not rub vigorously or use harsh and abrasive cleaning techniques as this can damage your jewellery.
When not in use, we recommend you store your pieces away from direct sunlight in a jewellery box, pouch, anti-tarnish bag or ziplock bag to minimise reaction with the air.
Sterling Silver posts are naturally soft due to the high silver content, so we recommend gently bending them back into shape if accidentally bent.
JEWELLERY SERVICING - PLATING + POLISHING
Due to natural wear and tear over time, your jewellery may need to be professionally re-plated, polished or repaired. We offer access to our in-house restoration and repair service for any of our pieces. Please contact firstname.lastname@example.org for further details.

International customers are responsible for any duties, taxes or other fees imposed by customs in the recipient's country.
In order to reduce excess waste and commit to a more sustainable method of production, we operate on a made to order basis. We aim to dispatch orders as soon as an item is finalised.

RETURNS We specialise in traditional hand fabrication, irregularities and small imperfections on the surface is evidence of the handmade nature of the jewellery and not to be considered defects. No LEJEUNE piece is identical to another.
If you are not satisfied with your purchase, we will offer you an exchange or credit note of equal value. Due to the made to order basis of our products, we currently do not offer returns for change of mind. If you have any issues with your order, please contact us immediately with the details in order to receive approval prior to returning your item. Items returned without approval will be returned to the customer.
Customers are responsible for all return shipping fees and duties. Returns must be sent via tracked services only. We are not responsible for any lost or damaged items during transportation.
All returned items must be in new and unused condition, with all original packaging. We will not accept the return of any item that indicates that it has been misused, altered or handled incorrectly. In such cases, the item will be returned at customers expense.
